How money moves
Fees are paid by bank transfer in KRW after a seat is confirmed by email, or at the door for the Thursday circle. A refund returns to the account that sent the transfer, unless you ask in writing for a different account in your own name.
Beginner Concept Desk
The series fee is 420,000 KRW. An 80,000 KRW deposit holds the seat and counts toward that fee.
- Cancel 14 or more days before the first Tuesday: the deposit and any further amount already paid are refunded in full.
- Cancel after that point but before the third sitting: the deposit is kept, and any series fee paid beyond the deposit is refunded, minus 15,000 KRW if you have taken the printed pack home.
- From the third sitting onward the series fee stays with the room. The worked examples and the pack have been delivered. The included follow-up desk hour may be moved once to a later afternoon within 60 days.
- If we postpone the series because fewer than five deposits arrived, every deposit received for that date is refunded in full.
- If we cancel a sitting and cannot offer a replacement date within four weeks, the fee for the remaining sittings is refunded, including a fair share of the deposit.
Single Desk Hour
Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before the appointment and the 70,000 KRW fee is refunded or moved to a new time. One reschedule is free. A second change is treated as a cancellation. A no-show, or a cancellation inside 48 hours, keeps the fee, because that afternoon was held for you. If the reader cancels, you may take a full refund or a new time.
Thursday Study Circle
The 25,000 KRW is paid at the door. If you leave before the note is opened, we return it. Once the reading has started, the evening fee stays. If we cancel the circle, anyone who already paid that day is refunded in full. There is no deposit to lose.
Private series and work already started
A quoted group series uses a written fee. The deposit named in that quote is kept once we have printed a custom note pack for your dates. Sittings not yet held, after that deposit, are refunded if you cancel seven or more days before the next date. Materials already printed are itemised and stay charged.
No-shows
A missed Tuesday in the public series is not re-run on its own. You may sit the same chapter with a later cohort only if that cohort has a spare seat, at no extra series fee, within six months. Desk-hour no-shows follow the 48-hour rule above.
Processing
Email hello@pondercompass.click or call 0517966991 and include the name on the booking, the sitting, and the date. We confirm eligibility within five working days and send the transfer within ten working days of that confirmation.
