The shelf, the chairs, and a first visit
The room is arranged for one kind of study: Solana developer concepts for beginners, read slowly, with the early words in a fixed order.
Order of the shelf
Cards stay in this sequence. Pulling a later card first is how people end up nodding at words they cannot define.
Accounts
Lamports, data, owner, executable flag, and the address as a public key.
Keypairs and signatures
What is secret, what is public, and what a signature checks on a message.
Transactions
A list of instructions, the accounts each instruction may touch, and a recent blockhash.
Programs
A program account beside a data account, and which one the runtime calls.
Rent and space
The byte length you ask for, and the lamports that keep the account rent-exempt.
A first Tuesday
Arrive a few minutes before 19:00. Coats go on the hooks by the door. Phones stay in bags. You receive the accounts card if you did not collect the pack earlier.
The first ten minutes are names and the week's noun. Twenty minutes are a paragraph-by-paragraph reading. Half an hour is the worked example. Twenty minutes are questions. The last ten minutes name what to reread before next week.
If you are early for a desk hour instead, wait at the side desk. The circle uses the chairs near the window, not the long table.
House practice
- The read-aloud finishes before questions start.
- Laptops stay closed through week four of the series.
- One voice at a time. The reader will ask the quiet person before the evening ends.
- Food stays outside. A closed water bottle is fine.
- The printed pack is yours to keep for study. It is not for reprinting as someone else's class.
What the first shelf leaves for later
Program-derived addresses, cross-program calls, and the byte layout of a larger state account are real parts of Solana work. They are later cards. The Thursday circle reaches them after the Tuesday words have become ordinary. A desk hour can touch one of them if you already have the early shelf and you name the page in advance.
The address of the room is the one printed in the footer. Come for a booked sitting; the door is open for those times and for confirmed afternoon hours.

The series walks the shelf in order. A desk hour stays on the card you name. The circle reads whichever note is on the table that Thursday.
